In May 1999, Sissel Spine Care Products LLC was incorporated, primarily to purchase the entire business of Sissel USA, Inc. and to sell the orthopaedic
products previously sold by that company as well as the pillow invented in Canada by Dr. Smythe of the University of Toronto.
Sissel Spine Care Products LLC then diversified into wellness, sports, rehabilitation, fitness, exercise and like products. It sourced its own products and
controlled the specifications of those products it sold. It sold only the best products available on the market.
Sissel Spine Care Products LLC. changed its name to Sissel-Online LLC, in 2000 and marketed its products on the Internet through the web site sissel-online.com.
Sissel-Online LLC sold its entire business to Sissel, Inc. in October 2002 and then began to develop and manufacture its own products. In 2004, it severed its
ties with its European manufacturers as it could manufacture better products at a lower cost on its own. Since then, the products, sold under the trademark and
brand name of Sissel-Online.com, have been constantly improved and new lines introduced.
Also in 2004, it was decided to incorporate a separate company, Theragear International Ltd. for the purpose of introducing a new brand to the market place and
which would provide premium products at the lowest possible prices.
In 2009, the success of the Theragear brand over the previous 5 years meant that the products should be sold only under the Theragear brand and the brand
Sissel-Online.com was discontinued in order to prevent confusion in the marketplace.
Today, through Theragear, Inc., Madeleine and Dennis Fuchs and staff are very happy to provide the marketplace with the best possible products at the lowest
possible price, as they have for the past 11 years. Newly designed and rigorously tested products will join the existing suite of superior products made available
over the past 16 years under both the brand names of Sissel-Online.com and Theragear.
